A Nightmare on Elm Street movies in order

There are nine A Nightmare on Elm Street films and one anthology series. Watch them in release order: the first six films (1984 to 1991) are one continuous story, and Freddy vs. Jason (2003) follows on from Freddy's Dead. Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994) is set outside that continuity, with the cast playing themselves, and the 2010 film is a remake of the original with a different story. Freddy's Nightmares, a two-season anthology series presented by Freddy, is optional.
