Insidious movies in order
There are six Insidious films, released between 2011 and 2026. Release order is the recommended watch: the first two films tell the Lambert family story, Chapter 3 and The Last Key are prequels centred on Elise Rainier, and The Red Door and Out of the Further continue the story afterwards. Story order runs Chapter 3, The Last Key, Insidious, Chapter 2, The Red Door, Out of the Further, and is given below for a second viewing. The two prequels follow other families and Elise, so they can be left out of a first run that sticks to the Lamberts.
